Let's talk

The second of a three part series hosted by the Logan Islamic Center to share aspects of Islamic belief and practice. These "Let's Talk!" events are offered in a spirit of building bridges of interfaith cooperation among faith communities in Cache Valley. This week's event will provide information and answer questions about when/why/where/how Muslims pray. Open to all. 

Dr. Abdul Nasser Kaadan, a Syrian refugee and scholar will speak about Muslim and Arabic contributions to medicine in Medieval times as well as about the current Syrian refugee crisis. Open to all.

The Intermountain West Interfaith Leadership Lab will be hosted on the USU Campus (at the Eccles Conference Center and in the TSC). This student leadership conference will bring students from more than 10 campuses together to network, to learn the basics of interfaith leadership, and to learn how to mobilize for cooperation among all who orient around religion differently. Food, fun, and interactive workshops. Registration is now open and the first 50 USU students to register will have the registration fee waived (as long as you register before March 24th.
